I was in a recent Chamber of Commerce meeting and we were discussing the increased number of emails that we receive. It appears that many businesses and personal communications are being delivered via this platform due to our stay-at-home order.

So, this month I bring you three tips to keep your email inbox healthy based on your personal and/or business communications:

1. “Email Processing Time” – Decide when you are going to process your email daily and make it part of your written schedule. Calendar it in, no joke, write it down in your planner.

2. “Don’t Touch Me Unless You Mean It” – The principle here is to suggest that you do not to open your email at all unless you’re willing to commit to processing it fully. In other words, don’t cherry pick.

3. Go back and do Numbers 1 & 2.
