My colleague and friend, Sharon Danzger who wrote Super-Productive 120 Strategies to Do More and Stress Less, were chatting over coffee. She was speaking to the fact that most people do not use a To-Do List. I had to grinningly admit, I’ve probably used a To-Do List since I was in middle school and then graduated to a planner after college. So, we are a small percentage of the American population penning our tasks.
In her book she advises her clients to identify and write down two to three Most Important Tasks (MITS) and of course do this daily. I’ve always loved this productivity principle.
I was thinking that one should also prioritize these very important daily To-Do’s so I am creatively borrowing her concept here and exhorting that we all Prioritize Important Tasks (PITS). Because if you do this, your productivity will skyrocket and your procrastination will tank. Therefore, this tip will keep you out of the pits!
