POSSE offers organizing services for the most common residential areas listed below:


Space

With POSSE's basic organizational skills, we change your spaces below into functioning, well defined areas so the client knows where everything is all the time. The rooms we concentrate on are:

  • Living spaces such as kitchens, dining rooms, family rooms, playrooms, and bedrooms

  • Storage spaces such as attics, basements and garages


Paper

Over half the work that POSSE performs in homes involves setting up solutions, systems and “homes” for the daily onslaught of paper incurred in most households. Some of the general types of paper projects we work on may consist of:

  • Home office organization

  • A bill paying area

  • A kitchen hub or “ Command Center ” for busy families

  • A reference filing system for items that need to be saved but “out of sight”

  • Vital documents

  • Receipts

  • Medical papers

  • Vital documents which may include a safe, fire box or safe deposit box

  • Student organization for children in middle school and high school


Time

We all have the same amount of hours in a day. POSSE can help you wrangle those minutes to produce your goals and priorities. Additionally, most clutter can often be attributed to a lack of time management attention. We educate our clients with setting up:

  • Goals/Priorities/Timemaps

  • Planners/Calendars/To Do lists
  • Action plans for projects

  • Chore charts

 


Assessment, $65

Before POSSE begins any organizing endeavor with a client we schedule an assessment. This takes approximately one hour and:

  1. Gives the professional organizer important visual information to "see" the house and determine what strategies, products and solutions will need to be implemented for a successful project based on the client's goals.
  2. Gives the client an opportunity to learn how POSSE operates and will structure our time together.
  3. Gives us both the opportunity to ensure that we would like to work together and sets the beginning of a trusting, confidential relationship.

Sessions & Fees

In general we work at the hourly price of $65 an hour for private organizing sessions with a three-hour minimum. For personal shopping of organizing products or for researching specific solutions, the fee is $50 an hour.

Special Projects Most organizing falls into the above categories, but should you need other organizing help for events such as moving or seasonal / holiday help, we are available for special projects too.
